The Fall

Let me be the first to say that fall this year in Kentucky has been a joy... the past week it has been in the upper 60's and 70's. It's so hard to believe its actually November! This past weekend my friend and I went out to an old Shaker Village near us and took advantage of the beautiful fall colors and weather. And of course with him being an actor, he hammed it up real good for the camera :P

Hello stranger

I've been away from the blogging world for a very long time. And not because I have been off in a foreign country, visiting a fashion week somewhere, developing a top secret clothing line or shooting a Vogue spread.

Nope!

I've been at school and for once been more engrossed in life and film studies to really put much thought into my clothes. Don't get me wrong, I still adore fashion and visit certain blogs every single day, but for me, I don't really have the funds or energy to be on top of current trends or go shopping every week to get things to show off.

So maybe what I need is a little redirection for this blog. Or stop it all together (which would be a shame because I did enjoy this oh so much.) So stick around and visit back in a bit. Let's see where this blog decides to settle down.

Jumping around....

My summer is almost over. Back finally from camp and acutally already back to school for a week of fun till school starts again.

These were taken the day before I left for KY, when I finally got the guts to wear a jumper around town. Figures I would have fun wearing it, and then have to go right back to school where it is forbidden by the dress code...

Dapper

I just realized the other day that Skye hasn't made an appearance on the blog in a while. So while I was home on my day off, I made sure to snap her modeling my new vintage hat.


She is as cute as ever and doesn't look like she just turned 11. It makes me feel so old esp since I can remember clearly the day we brought her home as a puppy... And that she is getting up there in years for little dogs...

Oh well! On a happier note- A new vintage dress came my way! It is a vintage sized 9 and in amazing condition. I'm so happy I am able to squeeze my squishy, curvy self into it!



But enough for now! I'm off to burn more DVD's for camp.
